Pms1位點編碼一個長鏈非編碼RNA PMS1T，PMS1T是miR2118的靶標。miR2118作用于PMS1T，產生21-nt的phasiRNAs。長日照條件下的PSMS株系中，phasiRNAs偏好性積累(右圖)。PMS1T中miR2118識別位點附近的一個單堿基多態性對育性變化十分關鍵，可能導致phasiRNAs積累差異（Fan et al. 2016）
